Health
The Health Section of SUDA (State Urban Development Agency) is responsible for monitoring the Health facilities of Municipalities / Corporations and frame policy decisions regarding the Prevention & Control of Vector Borne Disease and other Public health hazards by a team of Professionals and Officials posted centrally at SUDA office.
It collects and analyses health related data, supports disease surveillance and coordinate with Municipal Authorities to implement Public Health Programs with the help of a dedicated team of Doctors, Staff Nurses and other Paramedical staff posted in all Municipalities and Corporations.
Based on the health status and disease trends, the Health section SUDA, assists in formulating policies and making informed decisions to strengthen health services across the Municipalities and Corporations of West Bengal.
SUDA Health aims to improve Public Health outcomes by ensuring effective planning, monitoring and implementation of Municipal Health initiatives.
