RCH Project has been taken up to improve the basic health condition within Asansol Municipal Corporation area. External funding comes to an end on 31st March, 2004. The project is similar to that of IPP-VIII and IPP-VIII (Extn.) and the facilities created are being continued with support from the State Government. The State Government has released fund to the tune of Rs. 1.32 crore for the purpose of payment of honorarium, cost of drugs, rent and to meet operation and maintenance expenditure during 2006-2007.
