Indian Population Project (I P P - VIII)
 
 
 
World Bank assisted IPP-VIII (Extension) Project for 10 ULBs outside Kolkata Metropolitan Area has been completed in June, 2002. In similar fashion as IPP-VIII, this project has been continuing with State assistance. Upto February, 2005, fund to the tune of Rs. 3.39 crore has been released by the State Government. Achievements under this project are given bellow:
