NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Sealed tenders in respective letterhead are invited from eligible reputed Catering Organisations for running a canteen under this office in order to supply food, tea, coffee etc., to the guests and participants during the Training Programmes, Seminars, Workshops etc. and employees and visitors of ILGUS Bhavan, Bidhannagar.
The details of the work including the date, time and place for receiving and submission of the Quotation Form and the Terms & Conditions are given below :

Eligibility |
: |
Reputed catering organisation having valid license for trade, food, and health. The catering organisation must be registered with VAT and Service Tax and also must have the PAN No. in the name of the Tenderer.

Normally one year from the date of receiving of work order. The same may be extended as per mutual agreement under same terms and conditions.

Earnest Money |
: |
Bank Draft for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) only on any Nationalised Bank Payable at Kolkata drawn in favour of the ‘Society for Training & Research on Urban Governance’ must be accompanied with the duly filled in Tender Form. The said Earnest Money will be refunded to the unsuccessful Tenderer.

The selected catering organisation shall have to enter into an agreement.

Security Deposit |

The Earnest Money shall be converted into the Security Deposit for the successful Tenderer
|
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1) The interested agencies shall have to submit their rate(s) in the original Tender Form collected from the office of ILGUS. Every pages of the said Tender Form shall be signed by the authorized person along with the seal of the organization.
2) The rate of each item shall be filled up in figure and words.
3) The rate shall be excluded of VAT and Other applicable Taxes. VAT and other Taxes will be as per applicable rate at the time of supplying of food.
4) All the documents including copies of Licenses, Certificates & Credentials etc. enclosed with the Tender Form shall be self attested along with the seal of the organization, failing which the tender may be treated as cancelled.
5) All payments shall be made by Account Payee Cheque in favour of the organization.
6) Income Tax and / any other taxes as applicable from time to time shall be deducted at source.
7) No tender form shall be issued or received after the stipulated date and time mentioned Under para (d) & (e) in the NIT.
8) Enquiries, if any, in respect of the said work may be made to this office during the period of 10.01.2014 to 30.01.2014 between 12 noon to 3.00 p.m. Excepting Saturday, Sunday and other Government holidays.
9) The Tender Inviting Authority shall not entertain any request for escalation of price of any item during the period of one year from the date of issue of Work Order.
10) If in the opinion of the Tender Inviting Authority, the performance of the selected agency is not up to the mark, the contract to run the Canteen of ILGUS will be rejected with a prior notice of thirty days. In such case the satisfaction of Tender Inviting Authority shall be final and binding to all.
11) Decision on acceptance of the Tender will rest with the Tender Inviting Authority, who will not bind himself to accept the lowest Tender and reserves the authority to reject any or all Tenders received without assigning any reason thereof.
