The West Bengal Municipal (Employee's Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 2003
In these rules the death cum retirement benefits for the employees of the Municipalities have been determined. Salient points of these rules are as follows:
Determination of qualifying service for pension
Manner and mode of determination and payment of pension
Determining the amount of death gratuity, subject to maximum of Rs. 1,51,000/- retiring gratuity subject to maximum of Rs. 1,51,000/-.
Addressing the issued related to family pension
Processing pension cases prior to retirement of the employees.
