The West Bengal Municipalities (Procedure and Conduct of Business) Rules, 1995
The West Bengal Municipalities (Procedure and Conduct of Business) Rules, 1995 has been framed for determining the manner of conduct of business in the meetings of the Municipalities. The detailed procedure for holding ordinary and extraordinary meetings of the Municipality, manner of raising questions in the meetings of the Board of Councillors, holding the meetings of the Chairman-in-Council, delineating departmental system in the Municipalities have been delineated in these rules.
