Housing:
Housing for slum dwellers under BSUP and IHSDP.
Target to
cover 1 lakh houses in next 3 years and 2 lakh houses during the
11th Plan.

houses sanctioned under BSUP and IHSDP.
Propose to
increase housing availability to urban poor by making
mandatory construction of at least 15% of houses for EWS
category in all housing complexes developed by Public
/Private sector.
Arranging for
technical education, formation of T&CGs, DWUCA, Thrift & Credit
Group, making provision for livelihood through sale of finished
products
Addressing concern of Urban Poor
Earmarking of at least 25% of municipal budget for urban poor
Development of slum infrastructure to be addressed under BSUP / IHSDP
Creation of database of Urban poor
Livelihood improvement through vocational training, formation of T&C Group, DWUCA , credit linkage, marketing arrangement
